Este Taller consistió en llevar a cabo un proyecto de grupo con los alumnos del décimo semestre de la facultad de Artes Plásticas de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma del Estado de México Toluca.
El proyecto de una alumna fue seleccionado por mayoría de votos: consistió en hacer una recolecta de aprox. 450 pares de zapatos, los cuales se pintaron de rojo y se colocaron en forma de un espiral frente a la Iglesia en la Plaza Fray Andrés de Castro en el Centro Histórico de la Ciudad de Toluca. Los zapatos simbolizaron la presencia social y su diversidad social y cultural. La instalación se prestó además a un juego interactivo con el público, en donde la gente, caminando dentro del espiral, iba en busca de su par de zapato perdido.
La acción de grupo pretendía establecer nuevos espacios de comunicación entre el arte joven y la población.

Durchführung einer Kunstarbeit einer Schülerin. Die Sammlung von ca. 450 Paar Schuhe für eine Installation. Aufbau einer Spiralförmigen Gestaltung mit verschiedenen Paaren Schuhe, Plaza Fray Andrés de Castro.

/ Workshop at the National Univerisidad from the State of Toluca, Department of Visual Arts an the National Fund for the Culture and the Arts FONCA-CONACULTA, Mexico March, 2002.

In March 2002, I taught a 30 hour course to students of the 10th semester.
It was the realization of an imaginary project of one of the students. The group project consisted of collection of ca. 450 pairs of shoes, which were painted in a red color and placed in a spiral form in the Plaza Fray Andrés de Castro, Downtown of the city.
The Installation represented the presence of society and the diversity of cultures. It became also an interactive play, in which people were looking for their favorite shoe.
